What the rows actually mean
Four of them decide almost every purchase. The rest are detail you will care about later.
Compute
Shared means the processor is divided between customers by the platform. Dedicated vCPU and physical cores are yours alone, which is what makes performance predictable rather than merely fast on a good day.
Root and admin
A yes here means you install what you like and we stay out of the operating system except for security patching. A no means the platform is ours to run and system-level changes are requests, usually answered the same day.
Backups included
Retention is how far back you can go, not how often we copy. Immutable retention means an object cannot be altered or deleted before its date, even by someone holding your credentials.
Service target
A target for platform availability across the year, excluding maintenance windows announced in advance. It sits next to the response targets on the support page, which are the numbers you will actually feel.
